The meeting will be held at our headquarters at 1501 Farm Credit Drive, McLean, Virginia 22102-5090. In your email, please include the following information:

    • Your name
    • Your email address
    • Your postal address
    • The entity you represent (if applicable)
    • Your phone number

You will receive an email confirmation from us. Please arrive at our facility at least 15 minutes before the meeting begins and be prepared to show the following:

    • Your photo identification
    • Your completed Certification of Vaccination form (PDF), only when the COVID-19 community level for Fairfax County, Virginia is medium or high as of 8 p.m. ET on the Thursday before the meeting. (Please note that you may show either a hard or electronic copy of your completed form; we will review, but will not maintain, your form.)

Below, we describe the COVID-19 protocols for visitors to our facility.

Masking protocols: When the COVID-19 community level for Fairfax County, Virginia, is low or medium as of 8 p.m. ET on the Thursday before the meeting, you are not required to wear a mask while in our facility, regardless of your vaccination status.

When the COVID-19 community level is high, you must wear a mask while in our facility, consistent with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), regardless of your vaccination status.

To find out the county’s community level, use the COVID-19 County Check tool on the CDC’s website. Of course, you may choose to wear a mask while in our facility regardless of the COVID-19 community level.

Other protocols: When Fairfax County’s COVID-19 community level is medium or high, if you are not fully vaccinated as defined by current CDC guidelines or decline to complete the Certification of Vaccination form, you must comply with the following safety protocols while in our facility:

    • Physically distance
    • Provide proof of having received a negative COVID-19 test within the previous 3 days

Lastly, we maintain a contactless thermometer at the entrance to our facility. This is an additional health and safety measure we provide, and you are required to have your temperature checked upon entering our facility regardless of your vaccination status or Fairfax County’s COVID-19 community level.

    BOARD MEETING RECORDINGS

The FCA board welcomes the public to observe the open session of our meetings live. However, the agency’s longstanding policy and practice do not allow third parties to record FCA board meetings.

Starting November 2021, we will record video of the open portion of board meetings and post the recordings for public viewing for a limited period. The board chairman may, with the unanimous consent of all board members, waive on a case-by-case basis any requirement for such a recording.

The videos will be available on the agency’s YouTube channel as soon as possible after the meetings conclude. Links to the videos will also be available under the current year’s board meeting schedule on the Events page of the FCA website.

Such recordings are not the minutes, or a part of the minutes, of board meetings. The FCA board’s written minutes are the only official records of FCA board meetings. We provide the FCA board meeting minutes, including PowerPoint presentations, as soon as they are approved by vote of the FCA board.
