Enforcement Actions by Other Regulators
Banking regulators issue enforcement actions against individuals and institutions that have violated laws and regulations and have engaged in unsafe and unsound practices.
It is important for Farm Credit System institutions to be aware of the individuals and institutions against which actions have been taken. The Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 prohibits anyone who has received an Order of Removal, Suspension, or Prohibition from participating in the conduct of the affairs of an FCS institution without prior approval by FCA and the agency that issued the order.
To help FCS institutions keep abreast of enforcement actions taken by other regulators, we are providing links to the enforcement pages of the following agencies:
- The Federal Reserve Board
- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
- National Credit Union Administration
- Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
- Securities and Exchange Commission
