Dear Mr. Van Meter,
I am working in rural economic development through the Wisconsin Innovation Kitchen in Mineral Point Wisconsin. This facility is a small food processing hub owned and operated by the Hodan Center, an organization supporting the needs of people with disabilities. This food hub has created 32 jobs for people with disabilities. A total of 97 jobs are supported by this food hub.
The Farm Credit Administration can make a critical difference in the life of rural America, especially related to job creation and economic development by supporting food hubs and regional food systems. We are not competing with existing facilities. We are doing work no other companies are doing. Please help this work continue!
