FCS Diversity and Inclusion - PROPOSED RULE - MARCH 2011 Dear Mr. Van Meter,
I am the daughter of a dairy farmer from Wisconsin. I had the privilege and honor of getting to know so many hard working families while my father organized the farmers in order for them to collectively bargain their milk. Today my sister runs the family farm. She raises produce and beef in such an efficient way that no big business could replicate the wonderful certified organic produce and meat AT ANY PRICE. People like her and her family should be encouraged to continue this way of life. As it is now both my brother-in-law and his son-in-law have to work off the farm for the privilege of coming home and working like mad to do that part of the farm work the women can't complete. Don't throw away this part of the economy. You can't eat money!
