FCS Diversity and Inclusion - PROPOSED RULE - MARCH 2011
Dear Mr. Van Meter,
Nothing is more important than a healthy, thriving food and water supply, both of which small farmers are the key to. I am asking you to support the efforts to diversify the FCS loan portfolio.
For 25 years I have been seeking out food raised locally. I truly believe small local producers are the answer to many of our health issues.
Thank you for this opportunity to provide comment on ways the FCS can better serve small and midsize farmers and ranchers. I fully support the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition's talking points and will be watching closely to the direction our government is going in regards to these issues. Thank you.
