The farm community in general is in the process of passing from one generation to the next. In this process, the up coming small to mid sized farmers are not only coming from established farm families, but also other walks of life. The farm community and rural America need both sets of new farmers. Some to bring established practices and conventional farming and some to bring innovative ideas, new marketing techniques and more sustainable production practices. Please support both sets of next generation small and mid size farmers.
