My name is Paul Peterson and I am working with over seventy local farmers in N GA to develop a sustainable agricultural hub. We are focused on supply, distribution, and access. It is crititcal that farmers like US have financing options that are specific to this industry. I have spoken with and met with many finance institutes and individuals to understand what is out there for funding of this sort with very worried results. The standard finance methods don't really work with these models. There are so many aspects of the agriculture industry that is not understood from the finance sector and so much that can't be explained adequately to fit into their small window of qualifications. We need credit for the farms. I urge you to do all you can to assist our country move into an agricultural revolution that can contribute to a healthier individual, society, and create jobs that people are proud to do.
