Dear Mr. Van Meter, My denomination has just spent the past four years studying ehtical eating, and in conclusion, I have become very much a loocalvore, and am concerned about the corporate takeover of our agricultural system. It would be wonderful if your agency could help small and mid-sized family and cooperative farms with the financing they need to stay in business, especially if they want to return to a local food delivery system. May I suggest of at least 10% of your institution's capital to be invested in such farms? And add regional farmers to the FCA Board?
