Dear Mr. Van Meter, I am writing to you in regards to upcoming legislation on the Farm Credit Administration. Every week, I attend our local farmers market in Herndon, VA and am so grateful for the produce made available. It saddens me to hear about how much work farmers have to put out for such minimal rights; and then big agriculture does nothing (sometimes even making our food supply unhealthy) and they get all the money and all the rights. I urge you to take this opportunity with the FCA and give local food producers the resources they so desperately need to help continue bringing quality food to the public. I also hope that you will work to make this information available to the public so we may continue to support local agriculture.
