Dear Mr. Van Meter,
Thank you for this opportunity to provide comment on ways the FCS can better serve small and midsized, local and regional food producers.
While the entire bill is critical. I would like to see great advancement in removing road blocks to stimulate local school food procurement.
I am very concerned when I hear statements like this: One third of all children born in 2000 or later will suffer from diabetes at some point in their lives.
Please do all you can to develop lending and business support products with terms and benefits for local and regional food producers.
