Dear Mr. Van Meter,
I farm fifteen acres of organic fruit and vegetables on the central coast of California. I sell my fruits and vegetables at my roadside market and to local stores and restaurants. It would greatly benefit my farming operation if each FCS institution created a baseline analysis of producers who meet the farm bill definition of local and regional food producers by number of borrowers, by loan volume, and other key characteristics.
