I am writing to urge you to bring capital to our local and regional food systems, Maine is on the cusp of great local and regional food growing, processing, and distributing. Small farmers are the lifeforce of this. I would like to request that you include a plan for conducting outreach to local food producers and a commitment to adding local and regional food producers to the FCS board.
