FCS Diversity and Inclusion - PROPOSED RULE - MARCH 2011
Dear Mr. Van Meter, Thank you for taking time to read my and others comments. I am writing you to let you know why I would like for small farms to be able to produce and grow through funding. It is fairly simple, I want to feed my family the best food possible and at a fair cost. My research has led me to realize that locally grown and/or organic food is most healthy. I want to use my food money to support my community. Also, we need to keep more of our hard earned dollars here. And what is more American than a local farmer? More than that, we as Americans need to support each other and it seems that one of the easiest and best ways to do that is to support our own communities. I think we could get a wonderful, lucrative chain reaction going!
