Senior Officers Compensation Disclosures - Proposed Rule
Dear Mr. Van Meter:
I am writing to object to the proposed "say on pay" for officers of the Farm Credit Services associations. I am aware of this regulation being in place for corporations due to alleged instances of abuse. However, in my many years of experice as a farmer, stockholder and director of 1st Farm Credit Services of Normal, IL there has never been any abuse of the trust put in our association officers. Regulations that are supposed to help often turn out to be a detriment for smaller well run businesses.
Please do not put these rules in place for the Farm Credit System associations.
