FCS Diversity and Inclusion - PROPOSED RULE - MARCH 2011
Dear Mr. Van Meter, I am so happy to be able to support this new rule, FCA 76 Fed. Reg. 30280. Having come from a large commercial grain operation in the Midwest, I know how important financing is to the smooth operation of a farm. I support making sure that small and mid-size farms have equal access to such funds. I especially agree that effort must be made to reach out to these farmers since they have not traditionally been well-supported and many are new to farming altogether. So please do enact this rule. I believe it will help to make the United States more food secure as we head into a new era in which energy might not be as cheap as it has been. Thanks for considering my thoughts.
