Senior Officers Compensation Disclosures - ANPRN - Fall 2010
Dear Mr. Van Meter:
I currently serve on the compensation committee of AgStar- a farm credit association serving ag producers in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
I would be opposed to the regulations as they are currently proposed.
No employees serve on compensation committee. All of who serve on our compensation committee are elected board members as well
as one appointed member. We receive training on compensation issues as well as data from consulting firms on comparable compensation
for employees in the financial service industry.
We operate as a cooperative. As such we are different from Wall Street and have not engaged in the abusive compensation practices that
took place there.
I do support full disclosure of all financial information including compensation to our stockholders as well as to our regulators—FCA.
