Dear Mr. Van Meter,
Please adopt the proposed rule to be more friendly on credit terms for local farmers and ranchers. These hard-working people work diligently to maintain the health of their livestock. They treat the animals humanely and keep them well with proper nutrition and open ranging during the day. The result is safer, more nutritious meat and poultry products for all of us to eat.
Without the help of the proposed credit rule, many farmers and ranchers will have great difficulties to continue their farms and ranches. That will cause a shortage of food for our nation.
