Dear Mr. Van Meter,
I am actively involved in developing several ag-related cooperatives seeking to increase regional food security. Obviously a major issue is access to capital.
Please adopt this new rule and bring badly needed capital to small and mid-sized farmers and ranchers producing for the local and regional market. We need to see small and medium-sized farmers represented on your board and money flowing to local and regional farmers through the FCS.
