Territory Description:

In the state of Texas, the counties of Aransas, Atascosa, Austin, Bandera, Bee, Bexar, Brooks, Cameron, Dimmit, De Witt, Duval, Edwards, Fayette, Frio, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kenedy, Kerr, Kinney, Kleberg, La Salle, Lavaca, Live Oak, Maverick, McMullen, Medina, Nueces, Real, San Patricio, Starr, Uvalde, Val Verde, Waller, Washington, Webb, Willacy, Wilson, Zapata, Zavala, that part of Lee County south and east of State Highway 21 and that part of Refugio County lying west of a line formed by the Copano Creek, an intermittent stream from the Goliad County line at a point seven miles east of State Highway 29 and continuing across Refugio County to form a junction with Aransas County. (The term "intermittent stream" is the description on general highway maps of Goliad and Refugio Counties dated 1936.)

Effective January 1, 2001, FCA chartered a new Federal Land Bank Association that consolidated with Texas AgFinance, Farm Credit Services (a PCA) to form Texas AgFinance, Farm Credit Services, which is an Agricultural Credit Association. FCA also approved a subsidiary structure. FCA amended the charter of the PCA to change its name to Texas AgFinance, PCA and to make it a subsidiary of Texas AgFinance, Farm Credit Services. The FLCA subsidiary is Texas AgFinance, FLCA. The associations are subject to Conditions of Approval that are also effective January 1, 2001. Pursuant to FCA's Conditions of Approval, FCA will treat the ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as the FCA deems appropriate.

Effective July 1, 2010, AgCredit of South Texas, ACA, and its subsidiaries, AgCredit of South Texas, PCA, and AgCredit of South Texas, FLCA, merged with and into Texas AgFinance, Farm Credit Services, and its subsidiaries, Texas AgFinance, PCA, and Texas AgFinance, FLCA, respectively. Texas AgFinance, Farm Credit Services, and its subsidiaries are the continuing associations. Texas AgFinance, Farm Credit Services and its subsidiaries are subject to FCA Conditions of Approval, which took effect on July 1, 2010. Under FCA’s Conditions of Approval, FCA will continue to treat the continuing ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as FCA considers appropriate. The FCA canceled the charters of AgCredit of South Texas, ACA, AgCredit of South Texas, PCA, and AgCredit of South Texas, FLCA, on July 1, 2010.
