Territory Description:

In the State of New Mexico, all Counties except San Juan and that portion of Rio Arriba lying west of the Continental Divide. In the State of Texas, Cochran County with the following exception: The Association may not exercise any lending authority under Title I of the Farm Credit Act of 1971, as amended (Act) in the State of New Mexico. Notwithstanding any language contained herein, the Association may exercise any lending authority otherwise authorized under the Act or regulations of the Farm Credit Administration.

Comments:

Effective November 1, 2001, the Production Credit Association of New Mexico (PCA of New Mexico) consolidated with Ag New Mexico, Farm Credit Services, ACA (ACA). Upon consolidation, the PCA of New Mexico became a subsidiary of the ACA. At the same time, Ag New Mexico, Farm Credit Services, PCA, an existing subsidiary, merged into the PCA of New Mexico whose name was changed to Ag New Mexico, Farm Credit Services, PCA. The ACA and its PCA and FLCA subsidiaries are subject to FCA Conditions of Approval that took effect on 6/1/01 when the ACA was established. Pursuant to FCA's Conditions of Approval, FCA will treat the ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as the FCA deems appropriate.
