Subject: FEMA Issues 2007 Edition of its Mandatory Purchase of Flood Insurance Guidelines

The 2007 edition of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) flood insurance guidelines has been released.
This booklet clarifies some of the issues that have arisen since the 1999 edition. For your convenience, an electronic version
can be downloaded at http://www.fema.gov/library/viewRecord.do?id=2954. A print version of the booklet can be ordered
by calling 1-800-480-2520.

The booklet highlights certain program changes including:
The information pertaining to flood insurance requirements for agricultural properties remains substantially unchanged.
