Subject: Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons


The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated its list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons through September 15, 2000. Attached is a list from OFAC containing all changes since January 1, 2000.

If your institution has accounts or does business with any individual or entity on the list, you must block the accounts immediately and stop any business involvement with them. An alphabetical master list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (66 pages) may be found on the Internet at the following website, which also contains information about OFAC rules and general information about OFAC:
