This document discusses guidance for financial institutions to develop and implement a response program designed to address incidents of unauthorized access to sensitive customer information maintained by the financial institution. Farm Credit System institutions will find this guidance useful in ensuring the security of customer information and the reporting and notification of unauthorized access to sensitive customer information.
