Subject: Final Revisions to the Official Staff Commentary to Regulation B


The Farm Credit Administration is distributing recently published revisions to the official staff commentary to Regulation B (12 C.F.R. Part 202). The revisions, published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, provide updated guidance to help you interpret the application of Regulation B. Among other things, the commentary provides guidance on the use of credit scoring systems, especially as they apply to age discrimination, and to spousal signature rules. The attached information should be retained for future reference.
