Subject: Counterfeit or Missing Cashier’s Checks and Unauthorized Banking Entities


The Farm Credit Administration (FCA) is distributing copies of Financial Institution Letters (FILs) 1-2000, 2-2000, and 4-2000 issued by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. These documents contain information that may prevent your institution from suffering a financial loss and include contact numbers and addresses should you have any information regarding the subject transactions or entities. This memorandum complements similar FILs and other information previously distributed by FCA to Farm Credit System institutions, and should be retained for reference.
