The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated its list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons through August 18, 1999. If your institution has accounts or does business with any individual or entity on the list, you must block the accounts immediately and cease any business involvement with them. A copy of the updated listing, information concerning OFAC rules, and general information concerning OFAC may be found on the Internet at:
