Subject: Year 2000 Awareness


On June 6, 1997, an Informational Memorandum was issued titled "Year 2000 Awareness." Attached to the Informational Memorandum was a copy of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council's Interagency Statement to the banking industry and Federal examiners regarding critical issues financial institutions need to address to resolve potential Year 2000 problems.

It has come to our attention that pages 15 and 16 of the Interagency Statement were inadvertently omitted from some copies. Therefore, to ensure a complete copy of the Interagency Statement is available, pages 15 and 16 are attached to this memorandum.
