Subject: Web Site Access to Comment Letters

As part of the Farm Credit Administration’s continuing effort to improve customer service and provide greater transparency about the regulatory process, the Agency will soon post public comment letters on proposed actions on its Web site at

www.fca.gov

. FCA publishes requests for public comments about proposed rules, notices, and other issues in the

Federal Register.

The first project that the Agency will post comment letters about is the proposed rule on Governance Requirements for FCS Institutions that was adopted by the FCA Board on December 9, 2004. The proposed rule will be published in the

Federal Register

January 19, and comment letters will be posted as soon as possible after they are received by the Agency.

Public comment letters will be available at the FCA Web site. To gain access, click on “Legal Info,” then “Comment Letters.”
