Employment Eligibility Verification

FCA is using an electronic system called E-Verify to verify that its newly hired employees are eligible to work in the United States . The system is operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA).

Using the E-Verify system, FCA enters information from a newly hired employee’s employment eligibility verification form (I-9). E-Verify then compares this information against electronic records maintained by DHS and SSA.

In addition, FCA can check the photos on employment authorization documents and green cards against images stored in databases of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

For more information, go to E-Verify or contact
